Excitement abounded Saturday morning November 19th when Festival of Trees kicked off. Guests bid on trees and wreaths. One of the most creative trees for bid was a tree made out of succulents. A crowd favorite was a southern rustic tree. A yearly favorite wreath was a snowman full door wreath. Some wreath makers were in the Disney spirit with a Mickey shaped light up wreath. In between looking at wreaths and trees, guests could partake in different experiences from: Cooking with Mrs. Claus, crafting, a picture with Santa, entering raffles, and browsing one of our many vendors. Kids cooked a healthy snack with Mrs. Claus and made a foam tree in the craft area. And of course, Santa was available for pictures. Overall, Festival of Trees was a successful fundraising event for Junior League of South Brevard. The League is thankful to everyone who participated behind the scenes to make the event possible and who attended to enjoy the event.
