5K Run

We are very excited to announce the newest JLSB community fundraising event, a 5K run/walk, planned for Saturday morning April 17th, 2010.  This family oriented event for runners of all ages and abilities will be held in Historic Downtown Eau Gallie.

The retro themed Re-Run will feature blast-from-the-past 1980's flair this year.  There will be team competitions, prizes and giveaways for participants, as well as a kids 1mi fun run and shorter tot-trot.  Wear your old race tee shirts
(re-run get it?) or dress in classic '80s style for more prizes and fun!  With the Running Zone managing the race and the post-race awards party on the Squid Lips beach and deck, this promises to be a fun new race for Brevard runners.

Support JLSB and Community Projects by Sponsoring the Re-Run 5k

We are currently seeking sponsorships from local individuals, organizations and businesses to enable the Re-Run and help raise funds for our community projects.   Please consider making a financial donation, a contribution for race prizes, or refreshments for the post-race awards party.  Your  sponsorship of this JLSB fundraiser helps sustain our projects and grants  supporting community organizations year-round.  Sponsors will have the opportunity to reach hundreds of runners on race day, as well as be featured in Sandscripts, the quarterly mailer to 600 community partners, active and past members of JLSB.  This is  both a wonderful opportunity to advertise and support your local community.
