In 2002 and 2003, our League participated in the Evening of Giving at the Melbourne Square Mall. It is a special, private evening of shopping for customers who donate to the Simon Youth Foundation. It was a successful fundraiser for us and a lot of fun.
The Simon Property Group continues to hold this event every fall. Melbourne Square Mall closes to the general public, and then re-opens for a night of shopping. There are special sales and activities in many of the stores, dozens of door prizes, food and entertainment.
Simon Property Group established the Simon Youth Foundation in 1998. It is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing educational opportunities for young people.

Florida's Finest
After two years of intense effort, our League's cookbook, Florida's Finest was sent to the published in 1983. It was reprinted four times and remained a good seller for us, selling tens of thousands of copies until the mid 90's.
