Friends of Children of Brevard County

Organization raises funds on behalf of the Volunteer Guardian Ad Litem Program. Funds will be used for advertising and appreciation coffee cups to recruit new volunteers for GAL.

Genesis House

Funds will be used for immediate and emergency day care, and summer camp, for residents until the mother is able to pay for her own day care or obtain her own assistance. This will allow the mothers to continue their education and job opportunities.

*Pregnancy Resources

Assist in purchasing items needed in the opening of a resale store that will help to fund the organization, provide materials at affordable prices (free in special circumstances) and provide volunteer opportunities in the area.

*Serene Harbor

Funds will be used to purchase materials needed for the organizations Economic Empowerment and Primary Prevention  programs.

*Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition

Funds will be used to help purchase utensils for the BNDC's DOCK (drop-in community center) newly refurbished kitchen in a program that is offering hot lunches and after school snacks to the children that attend. As well as materials for cooking classes that will teach the children how to prepare healthy meal choices.

*The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project

Volunteer organization that helps families caring for their chronically ill children with special needs in the family home. Funds will assist with producing a new pamphlet entitled "Special-needs Parenting 101 guide" to be distributed to parents of newly diagnosed chronically-ill children with life-time disabilities.
