Projects

Every five years, the Junior League of South Brevard (JLSB) members identify focus areas in which to direct our volunteer efforts. During this five year period, community projects that address these focus areas are funded with time and money by the JLSB. Click on the appropriate link to learn more about our current projects.

MINI GRANTS

JLSB awards mini-grants up to $1,000.00 each year to South Brevard community organizations. 2006-2007 recipients were Brevard Cultural Alliance for the Artist in Residence program, Brevard Museum of Art and Science to assist in offering free educational programs, Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition for a summer mentoring program, Brevard Zoo to build a conservation kiosk, Genesis House for G.E.D. tutoring and testing, Healthy Families Brevard to provide safety items for families with small children, Rolling Readers Space Coast to help provide a literacy program in a South Brevard school, Space Coast Early Intervention Center to purchase critically needed computer hardware, and The Women's Center for the vocational training program.
